Why the Kenites
were called out of
the city of Amalek
Why did God send Samuel to Saul to get the Kenites out of the city of Amalek?
The Answer is in the Bible.
Saul said to the Kenites, "Go, depart, go down from among the Amalekites, so that I do not destroy you with them; for you showed kindness to all the sons of Israel when they came up from Egypt." So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. [NASB]
Then he said to the Kenites, "Go away, leave the Amalekites so that I do not destroy you along with them; for you showed kindness to all the Israelites when they came up out of Egypt." So the Kenites moved away from the Amalekites. [NIV]
Through Saul, God tells the Kenites to come out of the Amalekites without suffering the plagues that the Amalekites will suffer.
Because the Kenites showed kindness to the Israelites when they came up from Egypt!
God tells the Kenites not to forget the good works of the chosen people and to destroy them after they have taken them out.
💦This also happens in book of Revelation in the Bible.
I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues; - Rev 18:4
