- 4 Contents in the Bible -


  1. History: In 1 Corinthians 10:11-12 speaks of examples and warnings.
  2. Instruction: In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 speaks of teaching rebuking correction and teaching.
  3. Prophecy: In John 14:29 speaks of things told now before it happens and when they happen we believe. 
  4. Fulfillment: In John 19:30 speaks that Jesus said "It is finished" and he also said in Revelation 21:6 "It is done".
    And Jesus said, "I am the Alpha(beginning: prophecy) and the Omega(end: fulfillment)".


You have to read all the four kinds of contents in the Bible to fully understand the purpose of the Bible. The fourth content "Fulfillment" is the most important because it reveals the nature of God. God is  spirit and the Word is God. Therefore, we can get closer to Him through the Word of God.
